The Ohaus Explorer Pro Balance EP4102 is simple to operate and a breeze to set up with provided user text prompts. This top loading balance has a capacity of 4100g and a readability of 0.01g. This Ohaus Balance features a backlit, high-resolution dot matrix display that allows users the flexibility of either simple weighing results or more advanced data as well as weight over and under indicators. Users of the Ohaus Explorer Pro analytical balance have their choice of operating languages, including English, Spanish, French, Italian, and German.  This highly precise analytical balance also features Auto Cal, which automatically calibrates the balance when it senses temperature changes that are significant enough to affect a read.

The Ohaus Explorer Pro balance has seven built-in application modes: animal weighing, parts counting, percent weighing, filling, and gross/net/tare. This laboratory scale even handles below-balance weighing with an integrated weigh-below hook. Visual aids on the screen include a capacity guide showing the relationship between the total platform load and full balance capacity. In contrast, the fill guide displays the relationship between total platform load and a user-defined target.  The Ohaus Explorer Pro Scale communicates easily with a PC or a printer through the RS232 port. It is GLP/GMP compliant and capable of date, time, balance ID, user name, project name, and reference information.
