Description
Olympus BH2 Microscope
The Olympus BH microscope is a reliable compound design used worldwide for a wide range of research applications. The modular design gives users the freedom to add components on an as-needed basis. The BH2 from Olympus is built with a long barrel objective lens at 45mm focal length and comes with an inward-facing nosepiece, low-positioned coaxial coarse and fine focus control covering a 30 mm range, and an x-y adjustable manual stage with a 76 x 50 mm scanning area that can rotate 270°.
The focus controls on the Olympus BH 2 Microscope also feature a tension control for just the right responsiveness for your needs. The brightfield field observation with Halogen Lamp Light Source and binocular eyepieces, allows the user to view clear images of their specimens. The binocular head is set at a 30-degree inclination, with a high eye point and a 53-75mm interpupillary distance. This allows for use with or without glasses and can be swapped for a trinocular head at a later time.
