The Labconco Paramount Ductless Enclosure is a self-contained work area designed to keep irritating and harmful concentrations of organic solvents, formaldehyde, acid gases, ammonia, or radioisotopes from reentering the lab environment. This digitally controlled ductless fume hood works with carbon filters and 99.99%  efficient HEPA filtration to remove gaseous particulate contaminants without the need for external ductworks. These carbon filters come in 7 types (sold separately) Ammonia-Amine, Acid-Sulfur, Organic Vapor, Formaldehyde-Formalin, Radioisotope, Mixed Bed and HEPA.

The laminar flow of this biosafety hood is horizontal thanks to the patented slotted rear baffle, drawing fumes and vapors to the back, without turbulence. The Labconco Paramount Ductless Enclosure is 3-foot-wide, with a extra tall 32” high interior, has an exhaust volume of 60, 80 or 100 fpm, and has a sash opening of 12”.
