PA 800 Plus Pharmaceutical Analysis System
The Sciex PA 800 Plus Pharmaceutical Analysis System provides an automated collection of quantitative and qualitative analysis and protein separation. This analyzer system works with CE SDS gels, which allow denatured proteins to either be reduced or left intact to be used again in further analysis. Features include high-resolution SDS gel separation, advanced capillary isoelectric focusing, and carbohydrate profiling.
The Sciex PA800 Plus Pharmaceutical Analysis System comprises a sample handling system that holds up to 4 trays, two for samples and two for buffer on parallel tracks. Each sample tray holds up to 48 universal vials or a 96-well plate, while the buffer tray holds 36 universal vials. PA 800 plus also contains an interface block, a high-voltage power supply and electrodes, a source optics module and detector, temperature control hardware, and a sample injection system. The voltage range is 1 to 30kV, and the current range is 3-300 uA.
The Sciex PA800 Plus Pharmaceutical Analysis System is designed for ease of use, from characterizing and checking protein purity to charge isoform distribution and glycan analysis. The simplified operations guide users through a protocol from setup to result and require minimal maintenance. This modular system allows users to swap out UV, photodiode array, and laser-induced fluorescence detectors.
