Stemcell RoboSep 20000 Magnetic Cell Separator

The Stemcell RoboSep 20000 Magnetic Cell Separator is a Magnetic Cell Separator that automates EasySep immunomagnetic cell separation. This Magnetic cell separator uses a column-free separation technology that enables both positive and negative selection of desired cells from virtually any species. The Robosep uses a robotic system to precisely dispense and run experiments. The pipetting system is set on a robot arm to automatically administer magnetic labeling reagents, with disposable 1mL tips. Samples are mixed and transferred using a 5mL tip, and then buffer is added from the buffer bottle. The RoboSep 20000 also keeps track of the appropriate incubation times. This cell sorter has a sample volume range from 205 uL to 8.5 mL.

This Magnetic Cell Separator uses an integrated color touch screen that lets users program runs to purify cells from up to four samples at once. Users follow the steps laid out on the built-in touchscreen and begin the experiment, then the Robosep handles the rest automatically. The robot arm is driven by two independent stepper motors that handle rotation and vertical traveling. The carousel of this magnetic separator is divided into 4 sections, that accommodate a 14ml sample tube, a magnet with 14 ml separation tubes, up to 3 reagent vials, a tip rach, and 2 tubes at 50mL that are multifunctional.
