Tecan Safire 2 Plate Reader
The Tecan Safire 2 is a multi-detection microplate reader with Tecan’s quad4 technology that takes four monochromators a step above the standard. Flexible, sensitive, accurate, and fast, the Safire II has the essential benefits optimized by stray light reduction. A quad-four monochromator also gives users a true spectral scan by eliminating cut-off filters and increasing the fluorescence speed. This easy-to-use multi-mode microplate reader reads in Fluorescence Intensity top, bottom, and multi-channel absorbance, incorporating temperature control and shaking.
The Safire 2 features 16 slit options on each of the excitation and emission side. This Tecan plate reader has a wavelength spectrum array from 230-1000nm for absorbance testing and 230-850 nm for fluorescence excitation emissions and is operable at temperatures from 4-42°C. Tecan is a well-known and reputable maker of fluorescence plate readers with additional options, including stacker modules from Tecan that boost efficiency to more than satisfy your monochromator reader desires.
