The Thermo IEC FL40R refrigerated floor centrifuge brings you high capacity spinning in a moveable footprint, designed with safety in mind. This benchtop centrifuge has been designed to be minimal maintenance over the years of use, with a brushless drive motor that’s low noise so as not to be a distraction. This high-capacity centrifuge features an intuitive control panel, with 5 memory slots for protocols that can be called up with a single keystroke. Set parameters and run conditions can be adjusted in real-time on this microprocessor-controlled centrifuge. This refrigerated centrifuge also features precise temperature control with a powerful refrigeration system and a temperature range of between -9 to 40°C.

The Thermo IEC FL40R Refrigerated Centrifuge has a variety of safeguards to protect users and samples, like visual and audible alerts, imbalance detection, rotor identification, speed clamping, an armored chamber, a double-locking lid, and many more. There are also a wide variety of accessories available designed to ensure biocontainment. To protect samples, this benchtop centrifuge gives you 5 acceleration and 5 deceleration profiles, that allow users the minimum run time without needing to resuspending pellets. The max capacity of this benchtop centrifuge is 3000 ml (with a swing-out rotor), and the max speed is 8000 RPM (with a fixed angle rotor) settable in increments of 10.
