Thermo E-Gel Power Snap Plus Electrophoresis

The E-Gel Power Snap Plus Electrophoresis System from Invitrogen is a speedy electrophoresis imaging system that can produce results in as little as 15 minutes. You can even watch in real-time. The system uses E-Gel Invitrogen precast agarose gels that minimize handling hazardous chemicals, with corresponding pre-programmed protocols, drastically cutting run time. This electrophoresis system uses a blue light transilluminator at 465 nm and an amber filter that is safer for the user and gives better results when cloning vs. ethidium bromide/UV.

Navigation is simple, thanks to the full-color touchscreen on the base. An additional camera module, not included, provides onboard software that allows you to capture and process images on the spot. Images captured by the E-Gel Power Snap can be stored directly on the device or transferred to a USB key. This benchtop system is ideal for DNA sample loading gel imaging and simplifies your workflow.
