The Thermo Genesys UV-VIS Spectrophotometer 180 provides excellent data quality with double beam geometry with a reference cell position, that is low-cost to operate, and reliable, ideal for heavy use and repetitive measurements. This UV-VIS Spectrophotometer gives you a spectral region with a range of 190 to 1100 nm with a bandwidth of 2 nm, and automatically selects scan speeds – up to 1600 nm/min. The Genesys 180 can accept a variety of carousels and has a single cuvette sample holder for versatility, and features room-light resistance which allows users to operate the instrument with the lid open. A variety of accessories are available from the manufacturer, including a Peltier-thermostatted single cell holder for temperature control from 20-60°, sipper, fiber-optic probes, and 4-position or 8-position cell changers. This easy-to-use spectrophotometer meets the requirements for applications such as kinetics and busy high throughput laboratories.

The Thermo Scientific Genesys 180 Visible Spectrophotometer is a user-friendly and feature-rich standalone instrument with built in software. This Genesys Spectrophotometer allows users to acquire display and analyze data collected right from the 7-inch full-color touch control screen. Users can easily download their results and store information through the back dual USB ports and can connect to a PC through a Wi-Fi adaptor or ethernet cable, allowing users the same access to save data and methods, and print results right from the control panel. The Genesys 180 also stores up to 12 methods allowing you quick access to your frequently used programs.
