Thermo HeraCELL 150i CO2 Incubator
The Thermo Scientific Heracell 150i is a CO2 incubator with an antimicrobial copper interior chamber that’s an ideal cell culture environment and touchscreen control. This CO2 Incubator creates the ideal in vitro environment: clean, reliable, and easy to use, near body temperatures, protecting valuable samples while optimizing cell growth for your ova and embryos. The Heracell 150i has fast recovery characteristics such as direct humidification of this lab incubator through a large heated water reservoir, getting back faster to optimal growing conditions 5 times faster than traditional incubators. A visual and audible alert lets users know if the water level gets too low.
To help maintain the environment while operating, there is a tempered glass door that has the added benefit of allowing users a full view of their samples. Accurate gas sensor technology comes in the form of a (TC) thermal conductivity co2 sensor to help to keep precise CO2 control ideal for a situation where the temperature and humidity stay relatively constant. This sensor does not need to be removed during cleaning and decontamination.
The Thermo Scientific Heracell 150i CO2 incubator is 5.3 cu ft. in capacity, with copper interior surfaces, that are naturally antimicrobial and kills microbes that come in contact. The shelving can be adjusted and removed without the use of tools. This lab incubator features a digital, easy-to-navigate iCan touch screen control, from which users can follow on-screen prompts, set parameters, CO2 levels, Humidity levels, alarms, view changes to the environment, and run the decontamination function. The Contracon automated decontamination routine cleans the entire chamber of the 150i using a moist heat that is shown to eliminate mycoplasma, as well as bacteria, fungi, and spores (USP 23) CO2 Levels can be adjusted between 0-20%, and the temperature range can be set between 3°C above ambient and +55°C.
The Trigas model mimics physiological conditions has variable oxygen control, that allows users to determine their desired oxygen concentration. By lowering the concentration, labs can increase the lifespan of cell culture, while limiting the oxidative damage, genetic instability, and telomere shortening that occurs. This also better mimics how cells will behave in vivo.

Please Note: The CO2 incubator have been fully calibrated by our service team. We calibrate at 7% and 14% CO2 concentration running at 37°C. Incubators come with a clean bill of health and are ready to ship. CO2 Supply tank and Regulator seen photos are not included, this is our testing equipment.

Technical Notes
This listing is a fully validated and calibrated CO2 incubator. Our service does a quality control inspection once an item arrives at our facility. During this time we check for any seals, sensors, electronic boards, and filters that are suspect and need to be replaced. If a part needs to be replaced we’ll swap it our with an original manufacturer’s part to ensure its up to factory specification. Once the QC inspection has been done, the instrument is wiped down with 99% isopropyl alcohol as part of our decontamination process and then tested. During our QC testing, we ramp the incubator up to its highest and lowest setpoints to ensure they’re working correctly. Then the unit is tested at 37°C for two days while we run 7% and 14% CO2 concentrations through it. The system then receives a temperature validation and is given a clean bill of health. The CO2 Supply tank and regulator seen in the photos are not included. This is our testing equipment to demonstrate a fully working system.
