The Thermo KingFisher Flex Purification System is a Magnetic Particle Processor with a reliable, speedy, and cost-efficient instrument for magnetic-bead-based extraction of nucleic acids. This flexible, easy-to-run purification system can be up and running in as little as 10 minutes, processing 24-96 samples per run thanks to the swappable magnetic head. (heads sold separately) and is fully automated. The process volume can be between 50-1000 ul, with 24-96 plates per deck, and has an incubation range of  +5°C above ambient temperature to +115°C.

Developed to extract and process cells, genomics, and proteomics from virtually any sample, the Kingfisher Flex purification system automatically handles your throughput needs without a computer, freeing researchers to complete other tasks. This system is loaded with internal software that supplies easy-to-follow, optimized protocols for nearly any application or sample type and allows you to create your own.

The Thermo Scientific KingFisher Flex is a flexible instrument compatible with any magnetic particle-based kit from major brands such as ABI and Invitrogen. The magnetic head features rods wrapped in tips and follows a simple process of binding, washing, and eluting, automating any extraction with a bead on it.
