The MaxQ 2000 is an open-air orbital benchtop shaker from Thermo Scientific.  The Max Q 2000 is recommended for Cell culture, Bacterial suspensions, Solubility studies, Staining and destaining, Extraction procedures, Washing procedures, Diagnostic tests, Hybridization, and General mixing.  The Thermo MaxQ 2000 lab shaker can be used with various platforms and clamps. From the upfront digital control panel, users can precisely set their desired speed, between 15 to 500 RPM, and their time for either continuous or from between 0.1 to 999 hours. Users can also set whether the time functions as elapsed or counting down, after which the cycle will end. The orbit of this open-air shaker operates at 0.75″ / 19mm, and the platform is a generous 11 x 12.5″.

The MaxQ 2000 benchtop lab shaker can accept up to 35 lbs of weight and operate up to 104F and 80% noncondensing humidity.
