The Thermo Megafuge 16 is a benchtop centrifuge built to process high-volume samples with an eye toward energy efficiency. The Heraeus Megafuge 16 has a wide selection of easy-to-install rotors to choose from, that lock into place with the click of a button.  This easy-to-use centrifuge has a maximum capacity of 1.6 liters and tops off at 15,200 RPM.

This benchtop centrifuge is user-friendly, with intuitive controls, a digital display of settings, and a six-program memory bank to store your processes.  From this control panel users can set the Megafuge 16’s countdown timer up to 9 hours and 59 minutes, or choose the hold function, set their speed or RCF, and choose between 9 acceleration and 10 deceleration profiles.

The Thermo Centrifuge is constructed out of quality materials including a maintenance-free motor, SMART-spin technology with imbalance detection, and advanced rotor management. Swapping rotors is quick and secure with auto-lock, and push button installation. Closing the Heraeus Megafuge 16 is a breeze thanks to the motorized lid latch for easy closure even on a tall bench. The ergonomics of this Thermo centrifuge make loading and unloading comfortable with a curved design and compact dimensions.
