Thermo NanoDrop Eight Spectrophotometer
The NanoDrop Eight Spectrophotometer provides users with advanced software to identify contaminants and correct quantification results, RNA vs. DNA detection, and high throughput. This spectrophotometer will quantitate 8 samples in less than 20 seconds or less than 6 minutes for a 96-well plate. The Thermo Nanodrop has an ambidextrous pipetting guide for easy and inclusive set-up for quick and comfortable sample dispensing.
The NanoDrop Spectrophotometer has a wavelength range of 190-850nm, with an accuracy of ± 1 nm and detection limits of 2.0–10,000 ng/µL dsDNA and 0.03 – 145 mg/mL IgG. The sample volume is 1–2 µL, and the absorbance range is 0.04–200 Abs (10 mm equivalent).
This benchtop spectrophotometer features powerful operating software with built-in measurement applications such as dsDNA, RNA, Protein A280, and UV-Vis. The Nanodrop Eight also features auto bank and auto measure for efficient workflows. Users can add compliance to the FDA 21 CFR Part 11 electronic recordkeeping regulations (available through the manufacturer). Users of the Nanodrop Eight software can easily export their results.
