The Thermo Precision 2868 Circulating Water Bath is a microprocessor-controlled, 89L capacity (23 gal) immersion circulator. Water flow is directed around the perimeter, and for more thorough circulation it utilizes an elevated sample platform. Widely used in research and quality control, the 270 Circulating Water Bath is well suited for applications such as enzymes and serology, that require uniform temperature and control and is particularly desirable for legal and reference tests.  The Thermo Precision 2868 Circulating Water Bath temperatures can be set in 0.1°C increments and the controller provides ±0.05°C uniformity at 37°C and a control resolution of ±0.05°C with stainless-steel gable cover, diffuser shelf, and over-temperature protection capability.

Temperatures range from +5 to 99.9°C. A high limit thermostat is included with this laboratory water bath that can be set to prevent heater runaway should there be a temperature control failure. The Precision 2868 Circulating Water Bath uses stainless-steel construction and exterior finished with baked-on epoxy-polyester. The interior tub of this circulating water bath is designed for use with distilled water, or water solutions such as water/ethylene glycol, with added corrosion inhabitants. This lab water bath heater and centrifugal circulator pump use a single switch control.  The microprocessor control panel stores all necessary functions for water bath operation, with 5 push button switches and a single digital display window.
