Thermo Precision 2872 Water Bath

The Thermo Scientific Precision 2872 Water bath offers you gentle uniform heating, and reciprocating action in one space-saving unit. The precision 2871 is built to last, with a 26.5L stainless interior housed in a corrosion-resistant baked-on epoxy-polyester steel exterior that’s simple to maintain. This water bath is also reciprocating, with a shaking agitation rate of 30 to 200 oscillations per minute at an adjustable stroke length of 0.5 and a temperature range of ambient to 99.9°C.  An ideal choice for a wide variety of applications, this water bath can be used for cytochemistry, serology, genetics, hormones, incubating microbiological assays, enzyme studies, thawing, and many others.

The Reciprocating Water Bath is a microprocessor-controlled with a digital panel located to the right of the chamber, where users can select their desired set points. The stainless steel gabled lid helps the water bath reach temperature quickly, channel water away from dripping back down on your samples, and with a holder for an additional thermometer as a backup reference.
