The controller of this -30°C Lab Freezer has a battery backup to preserve settings in the event of a power failure.

The Thermo Fisher Scientific freezer is built with high-density 2-inch-thick foamed in place insulation and a solid door to help reduce the effects of ambient temperature fluctuations. The insulation and refrigerant are both CFC-Free and chill the 11.5cu ft (326L) interior through forced air circulation. This circulation helps to maintain uniformity and speedy temperature recovery after an opening. This -30°C Freezer features an automatic defrost and condensation removal that initiates a defrost cycle, minimizing build-up and maintaining efficiency.
