UVP ChemiDoc Imager

The UVP ChemiDoc-It Imaging system creates an ideal environment for chemiluminescent image capture and analysis of gels, plates, membranes, and colony counting. The ChemiDoc-it system is built for Chemiluminescence, fluorescence, colorimetric, and multiplexing applications. The Ethidium Bromide emission filter blocks UV and IR radiation from the transilluminator, which can be placed in the five positions in the slide-out filter tray. The compact, light-tight darkroom has an overhead white light and a non-reflective plate that creates an ultra-dark, super-sensitive setting. The adjustable platform allows for optimal captures of chemiluminescent blots up to 25 x 26cm in size and other imaging samples.

The UVP ChemiDoc-It Imaging system features a large built-in 15.6” touch screen with Windows-based navigation to maximize imaging functions while conserving bench space. The integrated touchscreen computer is loaded with TS2 software, intuitive navigation, and image processing. The large format touch screen is full color. It can be used with a finger or stylus, and users can navigate through options for exposure, aperture, focus, zoom, printing an image, and other parameters. Once you have your image, you can use the software’s various enhancements to bring out the data you want, such as annotation, filter tools, spatial calibration, and conversion to multiple formats. Users can export their images through the side USB and SD ports.

This Western Blot imager includes a Biolite, which supplies potent and direct epi and trans illumination through a fiberoptic cable. This light source is also compatible with a wide range of filters sold separately.
