UVP GelStudio Touch Gel Documentation System

The UVP GelStudio Touch Gel Documentation System brings your lab a sleek, high-sensitivity Imaging system. This gel doc system works with a 12 mp camera and a touch interface that allows users to clearly see fine details and even faint bands. It is outfitted with Trans UV/Blue and Epi White lamps, with additional colors of Epi blue, red, green, and purple.

The GelStudio Touch has a drop-down door to the darkroom, which allows for easy loading and unloading of gels. The thin-line transilluminator slides out and features long-life UV lamps on an area of 17 x 21cm. This broad platform means you can image multiple gels and colony plates simultaneously.

The 13” touch screen lets users multitask, supporting multiple windows open simultaneously for a speedy workflow, and stores 500GB of information for large images, templates and data. There are also 7 USB ports for peripheral equipment and data export. This Gel doc system also features robust VisionWork software, built to guide users through the acquisition and analysis of images. This includes customizable action settings with a quick start camera and darkroom settings.
