The vortex mixer is one of the most common vortexers found in today’s market, thanks to its reliability and flexibility. Users can swap out the attachment at the top to suit their application.

The vortex mixer Genie 2 comes with a wide microplate adapter or a flat top attachment. Vortexing can be achieved in two ways: simply flipping the toggle on or setting it to touch on, where you depress the cup for a quick shake. This vortex mixer has 10 speeds adjusted at the dial in the front for a range of between a gentle 600 to a more vigorous 3200 RPM.  The Vortex mixer has durable cast metal construction and a hefty weight to keep the instrument from walking.
