The VWR Analytical Balance 164-AC provides users with an analytical balance with reliable performance at a great price. This sturdy digital balance has a capacity of 160g with a 0.1mg readability and a draft shield to protect the samples and reduce interference. Calibration on this analytical scale can be handled in one of three ways, either by temperature when there’s a 3°C change in ambient temperature, on a timer-activated schedule with 1 to 12-hour intervals, or simply by pressing the cal key for quick results. Users also have the option to calibrate with a known external weight if they choose.

The menu-driven control panel of this VWR A-series Analytical Scale guides users easily through setup, selecting their function and weigh mode, and provides quick access to stored data. Users of this analytical weighing balance can select between applications such as basic weighing, piece counting, check weighing, dosing, deviations, density determination or both solids and liquids, dynamic animal weighing, statistics, formulation, and peak hold. There are 17 Weighing units including 2 user-defined slots, and multiple languages to select from.
