VWR CryoPro Liquid Nitrogen Dewar
The VWR CryoPro Liquid Nitrogen Dewar provides a highly efficient, low-maintenance, cost-effective solution to your cryogenic storage needs. This dewar is constructed with a reduced neck opening and high vacuum insulation, with a low evaporation rate of 0.84L per day, giving it a static hold time of 194 days. This cryogenic storage tank has a convenient auto-fill feature, typically requiring less than one Liquid Nitrogen supply cylinder per month. The insulation is efficient enough to hold at a vapor storage temperature of -185°C or colder with just a few inches of LN2.
The VWR CryoPro Liquid Nitrogen Dewar is a high capacity, holding up to 7000 specimens, and uses a unique CryoRetriver claw, designed specifically for collecting frames, vials, and boxes from within the dewar, and a sealed center shaft that prevents spurting of LN2 that could be hazardous. This liquid nitrogen storage tank has contacts for remote alarms and audible and visual alarms on the unit, alerting users to low supply.
