The VWR Flammable Storage  -20 Freezer provides everyday use and storage without complication. This reliable lab freezer is an excellent choice for the lab’s additional storage and where precise control isn’t a requirement. This general-purpose freezer has a 20 cubic ft capacity and an epoxy-coated exterior that’s resistant to corrosion.

To prevent sparks, the thermostat for this flammable freezer is kept in the rear, externally, giving it the added security of making it difficult to access and accidentally change. The temperature range of this special-purpose freezer is between -12 and -20°C, and it uses R134a refrigerant. Inside this -20 lab freezer is a static-free ABS plastic interior with coved corners for easy clean-up.

The interior also features 4 fixed-level evaporator shelves, a pull-out storage basket, and plenty of indoor storage space. This energy-efficient lab freezer is insulated with CFC-free high-density urethane foam in both the cabinet and the door, helping to maintain temperature stability.
