The VWR High-Speed Microplate Shaker provides high-speed shaking and high capacity in a simple to operate instrument. This plate shaker tray can be adjusted to accept stacks of microplates or vessels up to 5 in high and up to 7lbs in weight. The orbital action makes it ideal for emulsification, mixing fluids, molecular biology applications, mechanical and chemical cell lysis, mixing tissue samples, mixing cytogenetic suspensions, and vortexing cell suspensions shakes traditional or deep-well microplates.

The VWR High-Speed Microplate Shaker operates at up to 2500rpm or as low as 600 rpm, with a 1.7 mm (0.07″) offset orbit. The variable speed can be set from the upfront dial knob with 10 level marking.  To prevent the unit from walking the suction cup feet and 50 lbs in heft keep the instrument where it is while in operation.
