This Advanced Orbital Shaker 5000 gives you accurate, dependable, durable shaking for a variety of applications. This shaker uses the accu-drive shaking system, designed to constantly monitor speed and maintain the set point even when the load changes. This orbital shaker has a capacity of 50lbs (22.7kg), and a maintenance-free, brushless DC motor, and a powerful triple eccentric drive. This lab shaker can be used in cold rooms, incubators, and CO2 environments from -10 to 60°C (14 to 140°F).

This Orbital Shaker is microprocessor controlled and has an easy to program touch pad control that lets users set speed and time, with a recall of the previous setpoint, and a restart in the event of a power failure. Time and speed are displayed separately for viewing settings altogether. Time on this lab shaker can be set to either elapse and shut off the unit when complete or be set for continuous shaking.

In the event of an imbalance, a built-in load sensor will reduce the rpm or stop the shaker entirely to protect the samples. There is also protection against overloading the unit, with audible and visual signals to alert the user.  To decrease spillage this orbital shaker ramps up speed to avoid splashing, and should there be a spill, special drain channels shuttle fluids away protecting the internal components. Platforms for this orbital shaker can be swapped out to meet your lab’s needs including specialized flask and tube holders, additional tiers, or a mat for cultures and Petri dishes.
