The VWR Orbital Shaker 5000 gives you accurate, dependable, durable shaking for a variety of applications. This orbital shaker uses the Accu-drive shaking system, designed to constantly monitor speed and maintain the setpoint even when the load changes. This vwr shaker has a capacity of 50lbs (22.7kg), and a maintenance-free, brushless DC motor, and a powerful triple eccentric drive. This motor and drive make it reliable for continuous duty and a workhorse in the lab. This lab shaker can be used in cold rooms, incubators, and CO2 environments from -10 to 60°C (14 to 140°F).

This platform shaker has a speed range of 25 to 500 RPM and an orbit of 1″.

The VWR Orbital Shaker 5000 is microprocessor-controlled, for consistent action and has an easy-to-use dial control that lets users set speed and time. There is also protection against overloading the unit, with audible and visual signals to alert the user.  To decrease spillage, this  plateform shaker ramps up speed to avoid splashing, should there be a spill, special drain channels shuttle fluids away protecting the internal components. Platforms for this orbital shaker can be swapped out to meet your lab needs including specialized flask and tube holders, additional tiers, or a mat for cultures and Petri dishes.
