VWR UV Crosslinker
The VWR UV Crosslinker provides a benchtop method of connecting nucleic acids to a membrane and is a handy way to sterilize and decontaminate small lab items. Its loading is simple, with a pull-out drawer and UV-blocking observation window. Inside the ultraviolet crosslinker are five 254nm tubes, providing a consistent wall of overhead exposure.
The ultraviolet crosslinker features a microprocessor-controlled sensor feedback system and set functions such as UV energy exposure and time exposure presets and user-defined UV energy and time exposures. This instrument’s
maximum UV energy setting is 999,900 microjoules per cm2, and the maximum time setting is 999.99 minutes. Other features include an internal safety lockout, an easy-to-read LED display, and a removable power cord for easy storage.
