Description
VWR Vortex Mixer
The VWR vortexer sports a heavy-duty design for continuous operation and the capacity to handle up to 2.5 lbs. Users can select between touch mode, which activates the digital vortex mixer when pressure is applied to the top head, or permanent on mode, which activates the head until the timer elapses. Ideal for applications that require repeatable, accurate results, this VWR digital vortex mixer has an LED front-facing control panel that users can select speeds from 300-2500 rpm. It is important to note that this unit can reach speeds of 3500 but only in touch mode. The timer can be programmed to run from as little as 1 second to as high as 160 hours.
This VWR vortexer has a cup head for tubes; however, additional heads must be purchased from the manufacturer. The VWR vortexer can also utilize a foam insert for thirty-eight 1.5 to 2.0 ml microtubes or a universal holder with a cover.
