Description
Welch Dry Vacuum Pump
The Welch 2511B-01 is an oil free, low maintenance Vacuum Pump. The PTFE piston sleeve diagram pump head ensures low maintenance and a long-life expectancy of about 2,000 to 3,000 hours before service. The compact handled design allows this pump to be highly portable unlike a heavier scroll pump. It pumps atmospheric pressures down to 219 mmHG with a free air displacement of 11 liters/minute. The manufacturer recommends running the pump for a few minutes prior to use to allow the interior to warm up which improves the ability to handle humid air. This pump can also be used as a low-pressure air compressor with a maximum pressure of 33 PSIG however for continuous pressure it stables around 10 PSIG. Common applications for this vacuum pump is vacuum drying in non-corrosive applications.
