Welch Vacuum Pump 2515
The Welch Vacuum Pump WOB-L System 2515 is a piston pump built for cell cultures, aspirations, and collections applications. It is lightweight, easily transportable, and features oil-free operation. Users can also easily maintain this pump thanks to an autoclavable receiver and bleach resistance. The liquid trap keeps fluids from being ingested into the pump while the vacuum level is continuously monitored and displayed on a dial.
The Welch 2515 Piston pump features an automatic flow stop when the 1.2-liter receiver is full, a hydrophobic filter to protect the pump, and an overflow float valve. This vacuum pump has 27.2” Hg, a high flow of 34l/min, and an ultimate pressure of 70 Torr (93 mbar). This high-flow vacuum pump is ideal for applications involving aqueous vapors, buffers, and mild bleach solutions; however, it is not for use with organic solvents, acids, or bases.
