The Zeiss Axioskop 2 Plus Microscope offers users reliable viewing, clear optics, and excellent image quality, in a modular, easy-to-use instrument. The Zeiss Axioskop 2 Plus can cover all your bases from transmitted light brightfield to epi-fluorescence with simple swaps of components and features (sold separately) set on a wide, T-shaped, vibration-free base. This high-performance upright microscope features optimized illumination, combined with infinity color-corrected optics, and an ergonomic design built for fatigue-free operation over long stretches of use.

The Axioskop has a 23mm field of view, giving you the best viewing without moving the eye around too much, while the controls permit a relaxed posture and can be located quickly and easily. The mechanical stage of this Zeiss Microscope is manually adjusted in the x and y-axis, traveling from 75 x 50 mm and having a rotation of 240°.

The Zeiss Axioskop 2 Plus Microscope can be set for individual users’ comfort, with binocular tubes that retain the interpupillary distance, but let the viewing heights and angle change to suit. The ICS optics of this compound microscope help achieve maximum performance with the minimum number of elements that results in reduced light transmission and improves contrast, brightness, and resolution. This microscope can also be set up for microscopy photography, with a dock for a camera at the top.

The Zeiss Axioskop 2 Plus Microscope is set up with a 100 Watt Halogen light source for traditional light contrast techniques, 10x, 20x and 40x Achro Plan Objectives for the best in fine detail and color nuance, a 5x/0.15 x Plan Neofluar Objective for a flexible, semi apochromatic, near UV option
