The Molecular Devices Spectramax M5e Multimode Microplate Reader offers you accuracy of a dedicated single mode reader across 5 modes of detection including being certified for Cisbio Bioassays HTRF technology. This microplate reader features two monochromators allowing users to define their optimal excitation and emissions without the need to change filters. This multimode microplate reader is capable of Absorbance, Fluorescence Intensity, luminescence, Time resolved fluorescence, fluorescence polarization, HTRF and covers formats from cuvettes to 6-, 12-, 24-, 48-, 96-, and 384-well microplates. This microplate reader also incorporates a triple-mode cuvette port, accurate temperature control, and microplate shaking.
The Molecular Devices Spectramax M5e Plate Reader can measure the depth of samples without being temperature dependent thanks to the powerful PathCheck Sensory technology. When used in combination with the comprehensive data management software Soft Max Pro, the Path Check Sensor of this microplate reader will normalize the well absorbance, letting users calculate directly without absorptive compounds. This microplate reader boosts the best signal to noise for luminescence reading by using a dedicated photomultiplier tube to reduce stray light. Instead of lenses this multimode microplate reader uses elliptical mirrors that maximize transmission, while minimizing wavelength distortion.
The Molecular Devices Spectramax M5e comes with dedicated data acquisition and analysis software, making it easy to set up and control with 140 preprogramed protocols getting you up and running fast. These ready-to-run protocols include HTRF assays from Cisbio Bioassays and LanthaScreen TR-FRET assays. This multimode microplate reader is robot compatible as well to help boost productivity and automation.
