The Waters Prep LC is an automated, high-resolution controller for dedicated preparative LC applications. The Prep LC combines milligram to multigram high-resolution isolation capability and is ideal for the routine isolation of natural, organic, synthetic or biochemical products. This LC controller helps automate purification protocols by programming repetitive isolation tasks from sample loading to purifications to column clean up. Users can perform isocratic or multi solvent (up to 4) gradient separations and choose from among 11 preprogrammed gradient curves. From the upfront control panel users of the Prep LC can set up operating parameters, edit and create new gradient and timed event methods. This system can also be used for checking fractions for purity all on the same system. The Waters Prep LC has a control range of 0.5ml/ min to 150ml/min, and a programmable columns size range of 3.9mm to 50 mm and larger.
