The Eppendorf 5424 Microcentrifuge offers you power and flexibility in a compact footprint. This Eppendorf centrifuge reaches speeds up to 15000 rpm, and a force of up to 21130 x g. The capacity of the fixed angle rotor holds 24 1.5/2ml tubes, with a chemically resistant, aerosol-tight lid. The Eppendorf centrifuge 5424 will do timed runs between 3 minutes and 9 hours and 59 minutes, with a hold feature. Controlling this microcentrifuge is simple from the upfront digital control panel with a touch keypad for easy cleaning or a dial control panel for rapid input.  Each features a separate short spin key for quick spin downs, and a button to swap between rpm and rcf display.

The latch-less lid of the 5424 microcentrifuge helps to reduce noise and pops open signaling the end of a run. This ergonomic lid also closes with the touch of one finger and with minimal force. The 5424 Centrifuge is whisper quiet at <46dBa thanks to the opti-bowl design. This means that even without a lid you can have it nearby without being a distraction. To protect delicate samples this Eppendorf microfuge features a soft brake.
