The GE Wave STF-IRC Sterile Tube Fuser is a sterile tubing fuser with full automation and aseptic operation. This tube welder connects general purpose transfer tubing from 1/4” to 7/8” OD usually within 2 minutes. The stainless welding blades housed behind polycarbonate shield heat to sterilization temperature monitored through an IF probe, then cool to the welding temperature for a durable and secure weld. Then the blades cool for disposal to prevent cross-contamination. The blades are coated with a chemically inert PTFE coating that prevents leaching or sticking and remain in contact with the tubing the whole time. This tube welder helps facilitate rapid and secure fluid transfer and features user-programmable parameters for various tubing. This GE Wave STF-IRC can also be connected to a PC for data printing and parameter downloads for compliance reports.
