Arrow JR4000 Lab Mixer with Tank
The Arrow mixing JR4000 is an overhead motorized stirrer. This lab mixer is sitting over a 15-gallon tank cylinder. Its controls are simple and easy to use. An analog dial on the front numbered 1-10 corresponds to speeds from 0-4,000 rpm. Users can carefully speed up the electric agitator to avoid splashing and down with the turn of the knob. An on and off lighted switch sits on the top of the stirrer. The lab mixer propeller shaft can be switch out to accommodate other 5/16” diameter types.
The cylinder which the electric agitator currently sits atop is made of a polypropylene plastic. Due to its composition, this cylinder is chemically resistant, tough and fatigue resistant, electrically insulated, and medium light transmissive. The 15-gallon (56.8 liter) size allows it to hold a fair amount of liquid and if the need arises, the motorized stirrer can be removed for the cover to seal in the mixture.
