The CelliGen BLU is an Eppendorf BioReactor that provides single-use technology in a stirred tank design, for the best in performance, scalability, and convenience. This bioreactor is built for high-density animal cell culture research and production, with the ability to handle up to 32 process parameters and can trend up to 8 loops. The bright, easy-to-read touch screen display gives you digital control of this CHO reactor allows for the control of up to 8 gases for low flow sparge and gas overlay, for intuitive and interactive system management and monitoring experience. The single-use vessels, available from Eppendorf, give users a flexible, interchangeable option, each featuring a stirred tank, rigid wall design, constructed of USP Class VI, and animal-free materials. The single-use design means there’s no need for autoclaving, letting you simplify validation, and reduce cost and turnaround time. The vessels also have different impeller options, such as pitched blades for shear-sensitive cells. This bioreactor system is comprised of 3 integrated pumps, a magnetic drive motor, as well as pH, DO, and temperature control.  This single-use stirred tank bioreactor is ideal for areas dealing with the cultivation of mammalian, insect, and human cells, vaccine production, and is great for batch, fed-batch, and continuous processing.
