The ESCO PCR Cabinet is a vertical laminar flow workstation with the highest air quality for PCR reactions. This PCR hood uses a HEPA filter to protect against ambient environment contaminants, with an efficiency of >99.99% at 0.3 microns, while a built-in UV lamp and Isocide anti-microbial coating on all painted surfaces help to decontaminate between PCR cycles. The UV lamp features an adjustable timer for up to 18 hours, with a default setting of 60 minutes. UV light is filtered by the polycarbonate siding and front windows to protect users from accidental exposure. The innovative antimicrobial coating of this PCR cabinet eliminates up to 99.9% of bacteria within 24 hours, continuously disinfecting.

The air filtered through this PCR Hood is laminar, so there is no turbulence to disturb samples, and it provides an ISO Class 3 air cleanliness.  This ESCO Lab hood also features a low noise level so it won’t be a distraction, an angled glass front for excellent visibility, and is energy efficient, using an energy-sipping 350W. This PCR hood gives you a dedicated place for your reagent preparation, sample preparation, and amplification in an area designed to minimize contamination.
