The Herasafe 2030i Class 2 A2 Biological Safety Cabinet provides users with the best in protection and smart technologies, that are easy to use. The herasafe employs autonomous continual monitoring and self-adjusts the airflow without interrupting the users’ workflow. This Smartflow Plus design monitors and maintains proper airflow through independent pressure sensors, and alerts users to any changes across the exhaust and downflow plenums. This keeps the airflow constant no matter the load on the HEPA filters, compensating as needed while also saving energy thanks to the dual DC blower motor. The motor of this Thermo 2030i design kicks out less heat than older AC motors and helps save on HVAC needs as well.

The Thermo Scientific Herasafe 2030i Class 2 A2 Biological Safety Cabinet also features a self-adjusting germicidal crossbeam UV light intensity. This lamp can be set with adjustable time to auto shut off when complete and preserve bulb life. Users can monitor and set their parameters through the full-color GUI touchscreen interface with easy navigation and graphic depiction of airflow safety and usage data. This diagram allows users to verify their cabinet is functioning properly for peace of mind. The touch screen of this biosafety cabinet also shows details such as user interaction logs, errors, and event logs.

The Herasafe has ergonomic features like LED interior lights which avoid the potential fatigue of fluorescents, one-touch start, and stop functionality, and an electronic front sash. The front sash of this Thermo BSC features push-button simplicity, automatically opening to the correct aperture, and has a sloped front window that is comfortable to use, and aerosol-tight when closed.
