Horiba LA-950 Laser Particle Size Analyzer
The Horiba LA950 Laser Particle Size Analyzer provides users with high-performance particle sizing, in an easy-to-use, time-saving instrument covering everything from nanoparticles to soils and sediments. This particle size analyzer uses state-of-the-art opticals for a dynamic range of 0.01-3000 um, with fast measurement times, high signal-to-noise ratios, and nanoparticle performance. The laser diffraction particle size analyzer is capable of measuring 30 nanometers and 3 millimeters in the same instant. Users can also set up three sample dispersion systems on the same cell tray so transitioning from system to system is as simple as repositioning, in as little as ten seconds.
The Horiba LA950 Laser leverages the automation built into the hardware and software to ensure speed and reproducibility, with complete sample analysis within 60 seconds. Tasks like automatic fill, automatic alignment, blank, measurements, and automatic rinse cycles save everyone time and money in the workflow.
The Horiba LA950 features robust software that guides users through everything from the simple to the most complex tasks, with user-friendly UI and visual information. The particle size analyzer software also includes Method Expert, a method creation tool that creates an efficient route for each step with expert advice, tips, and context information. Users can also verify their instrument with the included ISO-13320 and USP<429> calculations as well as tables for data comparison, r-parameter, multi-modal functions, and more. Users can export their measurements as excel sheets, customizable report templates, and an intensity graph.
