IKA Hotplate Stirrer RCT
The IKA RCT Basic S1 Magnetic Stirrer Hotplate allows you to stir or heat simultaneously or independently, depending on your needs. This laboratory stirrer lets users select their temperature, up to 300°, and speeds, between 0 and 1100 rpm, through separate dial controls. This Hotplate uses a stainless steel composite Hotplate to enable rapid heating. A stir bar or flea is inserted into the liquid and, using a magnetic field, begins swirling, stirring the liquid independently. Magnetic stirrers tend to be quieter than gear-driven motorized stirrers with no external moving parts.
Models with the ETS D5 temperature control probe:
The ETS D5 Temperature Probe features 3 operating modes: one for varying temperatures, one for uniform conditions, and one suitable for unsupervised operation. This temperature probe connects to the hotplate through the DIN 12878 socket in the rear of the instrument, keeping your temperatures monitored and from overshooting.
