The Implen NP80 NanoPhotometer Spectrophotometer offers your lab a lightweight, portable microvolume spectrophotometer with built-in features and control. This UV/Vis spectrophotometer is a mere 8x11x8” and weighs 15 lbs, yet has a broad detection range of dsDNA: 1 – 16,500 ng/µl and BSA: 0.03 – 478 mg/ml. The microvolume and built-in cuvette reader save time and avoid manual dilution errors. The full spectrum ranges from 200 to 900 nm at a resolution of 1.5 nm.

The Implen NP80 NanoPhotometer Spectrophotometer features preprogrammed applications such as Nucleic Acids (DNA, RNA, mRNA, Oligos, etc.) with QC Ratios (260/280 and 260/230), Protein UV with QC Ratio (260/280), it allows you to measure fluorescent dye-labeled nucleic acids and proteins using absorbance, and more.

Users can access nucleic acid quantifications, protein quantitation, and other UV/Vis spectroscopy methods through the built-in 7-inch, glove-compatible touchscreen. This Nanophotometer spectrophotometer features a built-in vortex for sample uniformity and works with a sample volume as small as 0.3 µL.
