Lab Armor Bead Bath 6L

The Lab Armor Bead Bath is an eco-friendly alternative to the traditional water bath. This 6 Liter laboratory bath uses dry thermal metallic beads in place of water. This lab bath is 50% more efficient than water baths, less likely to need germicidal decontamination, and holds your samples in place! Because beads used to heat samples are dry, it creates an environment unfriendly to microbes. Not needing to empty and clean the baths, or wait a long time for heat also cuts down on the amount of time spent prepping, and increases productivity.

The Lab Armor Bead Bath uses less energy to heat your samples and still provides precise and uniform control. Because the bead in this laboratory bath conforms to any shape and holds samples in place you have more options as to vessels that can be used, such as a capped petri dish or a microplate. The temperature range of this lab bath is 5° above ambient to 80°C, with uniformity of ±1.0°C at 37°C. This laboratory bath also helps to prevent distorted data and inaccuracies that can happen when water evaporates from a standard bath.
