Labconco Protector XVS Ventilation Station

Labconco Protector XVS is a Ventilation Station that provides a light-duty work enclosure, ideal for educational uses, cytology and pathology applications, or solvent cleaning work. This 2” cabinet features a tempered glass top and sides and has a clean sweep airfoil. This airfoil pulls air through the zone perforated rear baffle to capitalize on containment and to create a constant barrier of protection. The upper sash foil bleeds air into the enclosure, directing contaminates away from the user.  The deep interior accommodates a variety of equipment such as a balance and has two utility ports to allow for power cords.

This Labconco Protector Laboratory Hood has a sturdy aluminum frame, with a corrosion-resistant dry powder epoxy coated interior, and an angled, hinged sash for easy loading, cleaning and viewing. The chemically resistant solid epoxy work area is dished to contain potential spills Please note this ventilation station requires a remote blower, exhaust transition adapter, and ductwork for operation, sold separately. The included Guardian Airflow Monitor senses and alerts users to low airflow conditions, using either a green “safe” indicator light or a red flashing LED when flow drops below the set point.
