The Leica DMI1 is an Inverted Microscope ideal for routine cell and tissue culture work, that requires little maintenance, but delivers high quality. This inverted microscope has a 40-45 mm working distance.

The inverted microscope uses powerful, pre-centered LED illumination for a consistent color temperature, and a 2-hour auto-off to conserve energy and expenditure. The smart sensor in the Leica DMi 1 automatically adjusts the light between bright field applications and phase contrast, not only protecting the eyes and being more comfortable to use but also saving valuable time.

The base is designed for stability and strength and is constructed out of cast aluminum. There is plenty of space for operation thanks to the T-shaped design of this inverted microscope, and the low center of gravity, and four vibration dampening feet create a virtually vibration-free element that’s essential for long exposure photography.
