The innovative Li-Cor C-Digit Western Blot Scanner offers users a super compact and powerful instrument that can fit neatly in a drawer. The C-digit chemi digital scanner replaces films, substrates, and dark rooms needed for other western blot imaging systems and instead gives you storable digital data. The system has powerful image studio software that allows you to analyze your results quickly and easily.

The full range of data results captured by the LiCor western blot imager is stored in a single file, minimizing the risk of saturation or multiple exposures to capture a specific point. The imaging area is 10 x 8.5 cm and has a 196 x 196 um resolution. The acquisition can be run at either standard or high sensitivity levels, taking 6 and 12 minutes, respectively. Images are generated as 16bit floating point tffs and can be shown in pseudocolor, positive and negative grayscale, and single color (red, green, or blue).
