Description
Luminex Magpix
The Luminex MAGPIX is a multiplex system that brings you easy-to-operate, easy-to-maintain, economical, and compact power for your ELISA assay needs. The Magpix system can process up to 50 tests within one sample volume and can read a 96-well plate in 60 minutes, far more efficient than traditional ELISA or western blotting that can eat up both sample supply and time. The Magpix multiplexing system is ideal for protein expression profiling, focused gene expression profiling, and disease testing, and can focus on both proteins and nucleic acids. This fluorescent detection system is capable of medium-throughput levels and with repeatability on par with ELISA and western blot. The Mag Pix powers up and powers down in under 15 minutes, with streamlined startup and shutdown protocols, saving you valuable time in your day.
The MAGPIX system leverages fluorescent detection, combined with immobilizing magnetic force and xMap microsphere technology, with a CCD camera to detect beads and analytes, giving you a sensitivity of 700 PE fluorochromes per xMAP microsphere. Luminex xMap with its advanced fluidics, optics, and digital signal processing, gives you accurate, repeatable results with a variety of preformulated ELISAs and Luminex multiplexing assays to get you up and running fast.
The Luminex MAGPIX Multiplex system is compatible with magnetic beads, immobilizing them with magnetic force, exciting them with LED’s and then detecting the beads and analytes with a CCD camera, giving you a compact, robust, and less costly tool. This multiplexing system is neatly designed, taking up only 3 linear feet, freeing up the workspace for other uses. This powerful Luminex Multiplex has excellent sensitivity, able to detect approximately 106 copies of DNA or single-digit picogram levels of protein. This cost-effective Luminex system is a terrific addition to your lab and offers you the ultimate flexibility, you transition to multiplexing on your own schedule and exponentially grow your data.
