Motic AE31 Fluorescence Microscope

The Motic AE31 is an Inverted Phase Contrast Fluorescence Microscope with optimized light, trinocular head, and extra stable design. The “Y”-shaped, heavy-duty, die-cast aluminum base and trinocular head provide a stable platform and optimal weight distribution for the c mount camera for image documentation and photomicrography. The Motic AE31 has Bright field and Phase slider as well as EPI- Fluorescence using interchangeable color filters that are easy to swap. For uniform illumination, the condenser is set with a 72mm working distance and can be adjusted and centered so users have the optimal illumination.

The Motic AE3 has an ergonomic design, with conveniently placed focusing knobs and stage controls. The viewing angle is set at a comfortable 45° with an adjustable interpupillary distance, set between 55-75mm and a 22mm field of view. The color corrected infinity optical system, or CCIS plan objectives, provides crisp, flat, high contrast images. Motic eyepieces have diopter adjustment and are specially designed for true color and high resolution to help minimize eye strain and fatigue over long periods of use.

The low positioned fixed stage plate is optimized for viewing posture, sitting at 207mm, making it easy to access and swap samples. The stage can also be extended with special adapters. The construction of this inverted microscope is built to last with an abrasion and corrosive resistant finish and a glass and metal stage insert. This robust Motic AE31 is set up with a Phase slider, FITC filter cubes, an Epi-Fluorescence Attachment, a filter cassette, blue, white, and green light filters, a mercury lamp, a digital camera, and a PC with imaging software.
