Mystaire PCR Workstation
The Mystaire CleanPrep PCR workstation is a dead airbox with a circulation-free work area to protect against contamination during PCR runs. This PCR Prep station is built from seamless polypropylene that’s thermally fused and chemical resistant, making it easy to clean after an amplification. To further help keep contamination at bay, this PCR hood features a shortwave UV lamp with a 0-15 minute timer. The exposure baths the chamber and its contents to the light, cleaning everything simultaneously.
The Mystaire CleanPrep PCR workstation interior gives you 4 feet of workspace and features a UV shelf with integrated slots for four pipettes. To cover the work area, there is clear polycarbonate access with a 10″ overlapping sash and a safety position switch that cuts out the UV lamp when opened to protect the user. Because this PCR hood is a dead air box, there’s no ducting or venting to worry about, making the placement of this lightweight workstation easy to accommodate.
