Ohaus Explorer Balance EX4202
The Ohaus Explorer Balance EX4202 offers your lab an easy-to-use, digitally controlled precision balance. This adaptable Ohaus analytical balance has a generous 7 x 8” platform with a control panel that separates away to make reading large items easy. The large color touchscreen display uses an icon-driven interface to guide users through 14 application modes. This screen can also be adjusted to 3 levels of angle for ease of viewing.
The Ohaus Explorer Precision balance features a capacity of 4,200 g with a readability of 0.01 g. To help minimize cross-contamination, users can program four touch-free sensors set around the balance for functions such as zero, print, calibration, or tare, among other selectable functions. This feature helps improve weighing efficiency, eliminates the transfer of sample residue, and minimizes the potential for contamination.
This Ohaus analytical balance also offers a variety of weighing options, including parts counting, animal weighing, and percent weight, and displays results in 12 modes, including a custom mode. This lab balance has a sensitivity drift of 3 ppm/°C and features both external calibration and autocalibration. The Explorer Analytical Balance features a 50% faster stabilization time, with a stabilization time of just around 1 second. The optimized linearity and repeatability provide users with accurate and repeatable results.
